FAQ'S - PERU YOGA RETREAT

"I WANT TO JOIN, BUT WHAT IF I CAN'T TRAVEL DUE TO COVID?"
We’ve got your back! You will get a full refund of all payments made to Yuva Yoga if you can’t travel due to Covid related travel restrictions including your deposit. This includes following: airports are closed, the entry to Peru or exit is not possible, or a quarantine is required for your entry or exit.
Should you get tested positive with Covid 2 weeks before the start of the retreat or at your arrival in Peru and cannot attend therefore, we will refund the full payment minus € 500 deposit. The € 500 deposit can be transferred as a credit to a future retreat with Yuva Yoga Retreats or any other services form Yuva Yoga.
"WHAT HAPPENS IF I HAVE TO CANCEL THE RETREAT BECAUSE OF OTHER REASONS?"
If you have the need to cancel 2 months prior the retreat starts, we will provide a 100% refund minus the non-refundable deposit. If you need to cancel with less than 2-months warning, 100% is non-refundable but the € 500 deposit can be transferred as a credit to a future retreat with Yuva Yoga Retreats or any other services form Yuva Yoga.
"CAN I JOIN AS A TOTAL BEGINNER?"
Yes, this retreat is suitable for complete beginners all the way to advanced students. We will make sure that all participants will feel comfortable and are either able to step into the world of yoga or deepen their practice.
"CAN I COME BY MYSELF?"
Totally! Most of the participants join the retreats by them selves. You can also share the room with someone that you don’t know yet, we will make sure to find you the right fit.
"WHAT IS THE MAX CAPACITY OF PEOPLE ?"
We have space for 16 people and will be two teachers.
"WHO WILL BE THE TEACHERS?"
Saulo and I will be guiding you through the 7 day retreat. Saulo is a yoga and meditation teacher and Co-founder of “Human Training,” a movement facility from Peru and he lives in Cusco. Saulo loves to connect people to their inner strength. He specialises in functional conditioning of the body and balancing physical and spiritual development.
I believe that everyone is his or her own teacher when it comes to understanding one’s self to find peace and happiness within. I motivate you to always look inward and connect to yourself without identifying with one’s own thoughts and emotions.
We are both dedicated yoga and meditation practitioners and are here to guide you through your inner journey.
We will also have a local shaman on location for a ceremony.
"DO YOU OFFER PLANT CEREMONIES?"
We don’t offer any plant ceremonies during the retreat but can support you to find a trustful shaman either in the jungle or in Cusco. Please contact us for more details.
"WHERE DO WE STAY DURING THE RETREAT?"
We will stay in one of the best retreat centres in Cusco called Samadhi Sacred Valley. Samadhi means union with the divine. This place is designed to hold worldwide yoga & meditation retreats. Each of their bungalows represent one of the seven chakra energy centers in the body. Find out more here.
"WHAT'S THE PRICE AND WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?"
Sharing Bungalow € 1.850 p.P.
Single Bungalow € 2.550 p.P
You can also share a bungalow with 3 friends, please contact us in that case. The price will drop p.P.
The price includes 6 nights accommodation, daily yoga classes, activities like a trip to Machu Picchu etc, all meals on location and much more. Please check the website for more details.
"CAN I BRING A FRIEND WHO DOESN'T WANT TO JOIN THE YOGA CLASSES?"
Yes, you can! Anyone who respects the main intention of a yoga retreat, which is to find your inner peace, can join. Your friend, family member our partner can stay with you in a room or can also get a single room. He or she can take part in activities or create his or her own day. We want to make everyone feel comfortable. The price would drop down for that person. Please contact us for availability and more details .
"WILL I GET A HEADACHE WHEN I TRAVEL TO CUSCO?"
We will prepare you for the high altitude and make sure to keep you as fit as possible. You will get a list from us with tips and a few practices with breathing exercises before you arrive. We will be equipped with natural medicine, in case you need something. Most people have a slight headache the first day of their arrival. You can reduce this by drinking lots of water, not drinking any alcohol, breathing deeply etc. Nothing to worry about! We will think of everything.
