ABOUT YESIM

This work is deeply personal.

It comes from the places I’ve softened. The stories I’ve lived. The moments I’ve broken open – and the practices that helped me come back to myself again and again.

For me, yoga isn’t about performance. It’s about presence.

It’s about allowing all of who we are to be there – breath, body, emotions, thoughts – without needing to fix, force, or prove anything.

I’ve been walking this path for over a decade. Not just on the mat, but through motherhood, through the messy beauty of life, and through my work – guiding others back to their own instinct, inner wisdom, and embodied truth.

From bright stages to grounded spaces.

I was born and raised near Düsseldorf, with Turkish roots reaching back to Istanbul.

My first professional chapters were far from yoga. I worked in the world of media, fashion, and performance.

I was a speaker, actress, and event planner. I created large experiences for high-profile brands like Hugo Boss, Vogue, and Mercedes-Benz.

And while I loved the creative energy, I was craving something quieter. Something real.

Yoga found me in the moments I needed to get to know myself.

And that’s where the real journey began.

I’ve since trained extensively – in Istanbul, New York, in the Peruvian jungle and beyond – with a 500-hour RYT certification, combining both classic Hatha and soulful Vinyasa. But beyond certificates, it’s life that has been my deepest teacher.

Style & approach

My teaching is rooted in love. In body awareness. In deep listening. In emotional honesty.

I don’t separate yoga from life. I see it in the way we move, breathe, rest, relate, speak, and show up for ourselves and others.

My style is a soulful blend of Vinyasa and classical Hatha, holding its roots in Raja Yoga philosophy.

The content of my classes is primarily based on connecting with one’s higher self, and is rounded off with guided breathing techniques and meditation practices to support inner clarity and balance.

Whether I’m holding space on a retreat, guiding a private session, or teaching online, I always return to these pillars:

Breathe. Soften. Listen. Reconnect.

I don’t believe in “fixing” ourselves. I believe in becoming ourselves.

Holding space for you

Over the years, I’ve guided hundreds of people through retreats in some of the world’s most breathtaking places – from Bali to Portugal to Turkey.

I collaborate with both individuals and well-known brands to share practices of mindfulness, resilience, and embodiment.

Every space I create – whether on a mat, on a beach, or through a screen – is a space for you to be fully you.

What I love

My family. The sound of my children’s laughter. Bare feet in grass. Ocean mornings.

Writing. Nature. Good food with people I love. Wildflowers. Art that makes you feel.

And honest conversations.

Thank you for being here!
