1. What data do we collect?

The data is provided automatically by the website visitor’s browser. The processing of your data is technically necessary. Therefore, it is not possible to use the website without providing the personal data listed.

2. Data processing for the purposes of processing the contract, establishing contract

2.1 Data processing for the purposes of performing the contract

For the purpose of performing the contract in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, we collect personal data if you provide it to us voluntarily as part of your order. Mandatory fields are marked as such, as in these cases we necessarily need the data to process the contract and we cannot send the order without their specification. Which data is collected can be seen from the respective input forms.

Further information on the processing of your data can be found in the following sections of this privacy policy. After complete processing of the contract, your data will be restricted for further processing and deleted after expiry of the retention periods under tax and commercial law in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR or we reserve the right to use data beyond this, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this privacy policy.

2.2 Customer account

Insofar as you have given your consent to this in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR by deciding to open a customer account, we will use and store your data for the purpose of opening the customer account as well as for further future orders on our website. Deletion of your customer account is possible at any time and can be done either by sending a message to the contact option described in this privacy policy or via a function provided for this purpose in the customer account. After deletion of your customer account, your data will be deleted unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR or we reserve the right to use data beyond this, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this privacy policy.

As part of our customer communication, we collect personal data in order to process your enquiries in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if you voluntarily provide us with this data when contacting us (e.g. via contact form or e-mail). 3. Data processing for the purposes of payment

As part of the payment process in our online shop, we work together with these partners: technical service provider, credit institution, payment service provider.

3.1 Data processing for the purposes of transaction processing

Depending on the selected payment method, we forward the data necessary for processing the payment transaction to our technical service providers, who act for us on the basis of processing on our behalf or to the authorised credit institutions or to the selected payment service provider insofar as this is necessary for the payment process. This serves the fulfilment of the contract according to Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. In certain cases, payment service providers collect the data required for processing the payment themselves, e.g. on their own website or via technical solution within the ordering process. 3.2 Data processing for the purposes of fraud prevention and optimisation of our payment processes

We may forward other data to our service providers, which they use for the purpose of fraud prevention and to optimise our payment processes (e.g. invoicing, processing of contested payments, accounting support) together with the data necessary to process the payment as our processors.

This serves to safeguard our legitimate interests in fraud prevention or an efficient payment management in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR that are overriding in the process of balancing of interests.

4. Contact form

On our website you can enter personal data via a contact form. If you use the contact form, we process the data you enter in the input mask (e.g. surname, first name, street, House No., town, postcode, email address, message, time of request and server log data).

The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6(1) (b) GDPR (contract fulfilment).

We use the data exclusively in order to process and answer your enquiry.

We only process the personal data you provide us to contact you until we have conclusively answered your enquiry. In addition, we store your personal data only for the assertion of or defence against legal claims or as long as legal obligations to store exist.

5. Newsletter service

We offer you the opportunity to subscribe to our newsletter which serves to inform you about current developments in various areas like upcoming events, new videos and classes hosted by us. If you subscribe to the newsletter, we process your email address and information to send the newsletter to you.

Subscription to the newsletter is only possible with your consent. The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6(1) (a) GDPR. You can unsubscribe from a newsletter at any time via the link at the end of the newsletter or directly via your user profile.

We process your personal data for these purposes as long as you show an interest in our newsletters or until you revoke your consent. In addition, we store your personal data only for the assertion of or defence against legal claims or as long as legal obligations to store exist.

The website uses the “two-click solution” meaning that when you visit our site, no personal data is initially passed on to the plug-in providers, which may be identified by their logos. Social buttons by social networks are used on our website. These are only integrated into the page as HTML links, so that no connection to the servers of the respective provider is established when our website is accessed. 8. Plugins and tools

The tracking measures listed below and used by us are carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. With the tracking measures used, we want to ensure a needs-based design and continuous optimization of our website. On the other hand, we use tracking measures to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for you in order to optimize our offer. These interests are to be regarded as legitimate within the meaning of the aforementioned regulation.

e.) Zoom

In some cases we offer events online (hereinafter referred to as “Live Classes“). Our usual data protection guidelines apply to this offer. We use the tool “Zoom” for this offer. Please note that all participants of the online event can see the name you have given. This can be changed at any time in the settings of the “Zoom” app. If you decide to use your camera or microphone during the online event, all participants can see your video and hear you. The online meetings will not be recorded or saved without your express consent.

Purpose of processing:

We use the tool “Zoom” to carry out online events or online workshops. “Zoom” is a service provided by Zoom Video Communications, Inc., which is based in the United States.

Note: If you call up the “Zoom” website, the provider of “Zoom” is responsible for the data processing. Calling up the website is only required to use “Zoom” in order to download the software for using “Zoom”.

You can also use “Zoom” if you enter the respective meeting ID and, if necessary, additional access data for the meeting directly in the “Zoom” app.

If you do not want to or cannot use the “Zoom” app, the basic functions can also be used via a browser version, which you can also find on the “Zoom” website.

Which data are processed?

When using “Zoom” different types of data are processed. The scope of the data also depends on what data you enter before or when participating in an online event.

The following personal data are processed:

User information: first name, last name, telephone (optional), email address, password (if “single sign-on” is not used), profile picture (optional), department (optional)

Meeting metadata: topic, description (optional), participant IP addresses, device / hardware information

For recordings (optional with approval): MP4 file of all video, audio and presentation recordings, M4A file of all audio recordings, text file of the online meeting chat.

When dialing in with the phone: information on the incoming and outgoing phone number, country name, start and end time. If necessary, further connection data such as the IP address of the device can be saved.

Text, audio and video data: You may have the option of using the chat, question or survey functions in an online meeting. In this respect, the text entries you make are processed in order to display them in the online meeting and, if necessary, to log them. In order to enable the display of video and the playback of audio, the data from the microphone of your end device and any video camera of the end device are processed accordingly during the duration of the meeting / event. You can switch off or mute the camera or microphone yourself at any time using the “Zoom” applications.

In order to take part in an online meeting or to enter the meeting room, you must at least provide information about the name.

Scope of processing

We use “Zoom” to conduct online events / online workshops. If we want to record this, we will inform you transparently in advance and – if necessary – ask for your consent. The fact of the recording is also displayed in the “Zoom” app.

If necessary for the purpose of logging the results of an online meeting, we will log the chat content. However, this will usually not be the case.

In the case of workshops, we can also process the questions asked by webinar participants for the purpose of recording and following up workshops.

If you are registered as a user with “Zoom”, reports about online meetings (meeting metadata, data on dialing in, questions and answers in webinars, survey function in webinars) can be saved in “Zoom” for up to one month.

The option of software-based “attention monitoring” (“attention tracking”) that exists in online meeting tools such as “Zoom” is deactivated.

Automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR is not used.

Legal basis for data processing

In addition, the legal basis for data processing when holding online meetings is Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR, insofar as the meetings are carried out in the context of contractual relationships.

If there is no contractual relationship, the legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

Transfer of data

Personal data that are processed in connection with participation in online events are generally not passed on to third parties, unless they are intended to be passed on. Please note that content from online events is often used to communicate with customers, interested parties or third parties and is therefore intended to be passed on.

Other recipients: The provider of “Zoom” necessarily receives knowledge of the above data, insofar as this is provided for in our order processing contract with “Zoom”.

Data processing outside the European Union

“Zoom” is a service that is provided by a provider from the USA. Processing of personal data also takes place in a third country. We have concluded an order processing contract with the provider of “Zoom” which meets the requirements of Art. 28 GDPR. An appropriate level of data protection is guaranteed by the conclusion of the so-called EU standard contractual clauses
