I Finally Launched My YouTube Yoga Channel
After more than a decade of dreaming, hesitating, overthinking, and trying to control things -I’ve finally done it. I opened up my own Yoga YouTube channel, and I couldn’t be happier to share this step with you.
For many years, I carried this quiet dream in my heart. I love yoga, not just the movements on the mat, but the deep, transformative philosophy behind it. And yet, I kept waiting. Waiting for the perfect moment. The perfect setup. The perfect lighting. The perfect English (since it’s not my native language). The perfect me.
Perfectionism held me back.
In the meantime, I created my own closed online yoga platform, where I could manage who joined, who watched, and how things were presented. It felt safe, comfortable, controlled – but also limiting. At the beginning of 2025, I made the decision to close that platform. Something in me had shifted. I was ready to grow past the fear of not being “enough.”
YouTube felt like stepping into the unknown. You don’t know who’s watching, how they’ll react, or whether they’ll judge you. But honestly? I no longer care about being judged. I care about sharing. I care about reaching the people who need this. I care about creating space for practice, peace, and healing.
Now, with great joy, I’m releasing a new yoga video every Sunday – sometimes a short practice, sometimes a longer one, always accessible and welcoming for beginners. I’d love for you to practice with me, move with me, and grow with me.
Yoga has been the anchor in my life. It’s not just what happens on the mat – it’s a whole way of living. A way of coming home to yourself. For me, yoga is the secret to a fulfilled and happy life. Some people are called to medicine, to teaching, to art. I’ve walked through fashion, media, and now, I’ve found my path here – standing in front of the camera, not to perform, but to connect.
This is my ongoing healing journey. I am growing, learning, shedding old layers, and finding new strength. I’m not perfect. I don’t want to be. I’m here to show up honestly, and to support you in doing the same.
So if this resonates with you, I’d love for you to join me.
Take a class, or simply sit with me for a moment of breath and presence. And if you want to go even deeper, you’re warmly invited to one of my in-person retreats, where we can move, connect, and heal together in real time.
Thank you for being here.
Thank you for reading.
And thank you – for practicing with me.
With love,
Yesim
